Summary
The rat anti-mouse IL-5 monoclonal antibody (clone TRFK5) was first described in 1988. The TRFK5 antibody recognizes and neutralizes both mouse and human IL-5 (Schumacher J.H. et al. 1988). The antibody has been descriped as useful in a sandwich ELISA (Schumacher J.H. et al. 1988) and the ELISPOT assay (Taguchi T. et al. 1990). The TRFK5 antibody has also been reported for use in intracellular staining (Belkaid Y. et al. 1998), immunohistochemical staining (Fan W.Y. et al. 2001) and Western Blot (Zhang J. et al. 1999).
