Summary
Recombinant rat IFN-α1 produced by Sf9 cells using baculovirus. IFN-α is a type I interferon which is a key element in the mammalian first-line innate immune response. It functions in anti-viral, anti-proliferative and immunomodulatory activities and inhibits growth-promoting cytokines, induces apoptosis and inhibits cell proliferation.
